WWF / GOOGLE / FREE-A-TREE
Free-a-Tree encouraged people to read electronic books. Its illustrated forest turned the idea of a digital reading choice into an experience that could be explored on mobile and web.

THE PROJECT
Motivate people to read electronic books. That is the objective stated on the original project slide, commissioned in the context of Leo Burnett, Google and WWF.
An illustrated virtual forest and book-related counters made the initiative visible. The retained Android source includes book scanning, bookshelves, score screens and social sign-in interface assets.
The mobile application and HTML5 experience recorded in the portfolio. Original production resources and the archived screen establish the book-led experience and its digital formats.
HOW THE EXPERIENCE CONNECTS
The initiative starts with electronic books.
The forest gives the idea a visual expression.
Mobile and web formats carry the same project identity.
THE PRODUCTION IDEA
The visual metaphor gives an otherwise abstract choice a place to live. The production lesson is making a campaign’s intended behaviour tangible through an interface—not claiming environmental results that the retained material cannot substantiate.
The original slide states electronic-book reading, not physical tree planting. The displayed book counts are historical interface content. No verified number of books read, trees saved, geolocation feature or present environmental impact is claimed.
